New Life Ministries DC has adopted John Hayden Johnson Middle School (JMS ) to build healthy relationships that foster and support student learning.
John Hayden Johnson Middle School provides a safe environment that promotes high academic achievement, instills character and empowers students to be productive citizens. Students are encouraged to contribute positively to their communities. In order to move students towards college and career readiness Johnson implements the Blended Learning small group rotation model, which integrates the use of technology through interdisciplinary activities.
Our activities and services at JMS include sponsoring educational field trips, teacher and staff appreciation days, and community festivals which our annual Fall Festival. We also donate supplies, equipment, and Thanksgiving baskets. Our volunteer services include participating in career fairs, athletic programs, and school committees. Pastoral care is provided when requested.
